Podcast Posted
I’ve been wanting to start podcasting for a while. Now, I finally seem to have enough tools that I can do it! Thanks to Clarke’s suggestion, I’m using libsyn, and I do believe iTunes is syndicating the podcast also. So, here is the link to my first podcast: Timeboxes Help Multisite Teams on libsyn.
I have successfully syndicated The Pragmatic Manager on iTunes. I don’t know how to give you a URL that will get you there directly. Thanks to Rick, here is the iTunes URL.
I also added the mp3 file to the libsyn page. Now I know for my next podcast:
- Make files in mp3 and m4a.
- Publish links to both those files and iTunes url
I don’t know if there’s more, but I bet there will be…

New Podcast at Pragmatic Bookshelf
Daniel Steinberg, my editor for Manage It! interviewed me a couple of weeks ago. The podcast is here.
We discussed some of the issues I’ve seen in organizations on projects. Some of the ideas we discussed were:
- What does the project manager do, even for an agile project?
- Has anything changed in project management?
- What happens when you ask people to multitask?
- How did I recognize the schedule games?
- Can anyone with an MBA manage projects?
In addition, I read excerpts from two of the schedule games (Split Focus and Hope is Not a Strategy).

Podcast of “The Rising Young Manager”
If you’d like to hear some of what’s in Behind Closed Doors, Andy has recorded an mp3 of one of our sidebars, “The Fable of the Rising Young Manager.”
BTW, I thought it was thrilling the first time I saw my name in print as an author. Now that I hear our words, it’s just as thrilling.

Podcast Available at Vision Thing
Last week, Effern of The Vision Thing interviewed Hal Macomber, Clarke Ching, and me about project management. He made a podcast at The Sound of Vision: 02/04/2005.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well Hal’s, Clarke’s, and my conversations meshed. We didn’t rehearse our answers.
Effern, I appreciate you for the time you took to organize, interview, and edit. Great podcast!
