High Flying Internet Access

I’m flying over the Mediterranean Sea right now. And I have high speed wireless access. Pretty darn amazing.

I’m using the system Boeing developed and is abandoning. I suspect price might have been an issue. On my flight, the price is free–because the service is being shut down.

For me, high speed internet access is a necessary part of travel. It’s not optional; it’s required. I suspect that’s true for many of you.

On the other hand, I’m not sure I want all of the features of high speed access available at all times. The guy next to me decided he wanted to chat while I was still sleeping. He used the audio part of chat, not the typing part :-) Sigh.
