Last time I was hunting for a job, your Hiring the best book was my major guide (used upside-down so to speak). 
Now your blog arms me with lots of necessary  tools.

A question:
What do you think of LinkedIn recommendations? What is the best way to combine them with the traditional references?

		<description>Strangely enough (in my experience) only the worst former employees ask for references. It&#039;s as if they know they&#039;re not that good and need us to back them up.

It actually has made me wary of references in other people&#039;s resumés.</description>
